It means there is a light at te end of the tunnel no matter what you have to hold on and even if your alone you can accomplish anything but ou have to believe in your slelf don't let anyone tell you the you can't do something life isn't smooth sailing there are going to be storms and some times there is goin to be huricains but you hunker down and push through and you can do it.

I was very depressed recently and through my recovery I use to play this song non-stop and it really helped me move on in my life, to me it mean no matter what life throws your way you have to take a make something good come of it and no matter what just keep pushing on and one day you will look back and think I made it through all this and I'm here today because this happened to me.

Depression is hard to handle. You feel like you're all alone in this, as if no one understands. You believe that you can handle it alone, that asking help is just unsignificant. At least, that's the way I felt. I believed that it was ridiculous to ask for help. It's been 5 months now since I've lost control of myself and started depression. I gained weight, I started hating myself. I asked help today. One step above finding that light. This song reminds me that there's always a silver lining somewhere!

When I was 16 years old my dad had already passed away and my mom was unstable to take care of me. So I was living with my older brother. Whom was addicted to drugs and later got us advicted from our home. He was caught with twelve meth labs in our house and was sent to prison. I moved in with a close friend and her family. She had been there for me through all of my heartache and told me to listen to a song. She said that the song was one day you will by lady antebellum and said it reminded her of me. As I listened to the lyrics I bursted into tears. I had never felt the way I did in that moment of time. To me this song means that through our moment of troubles we will one day find peace. Down the road the sun is shining we just have to keep holding on.

There comes to a point of our life that no one can answer all the question in our mind, that we cannot find any peace of mind a point in our life where we stop and ask our self why are we here or why do we need to experience those pains, those problem, or why do we carry those burdens one day you will means one day we will find the answer to these questions.
