Oh, this song! I think it's about an unexplainable connection that is difficult to logically discern but is felt at the core. She explains that she feels as though he provides balance to her internal word bringing water when she's hot and warmth when she is cold; perfect balance. Then, she admires his immense intelligence which isn't boastful. He is more than he seems; intellect hidden behind "child's eyes;" still eager to learn and more so through compassion, yet she still can see how bright he is, a stark brillance that probably casts a shadow on everything without him.
Like his eyes, the stars in the dark night become holes that allow her to peer into the light, (most beautiful imagery, ever!) she can feel him without words and without touch for they are bounded without boundaries, if that makes any sense. The bridges they build are unseen and incomprehensible, yet they certainly exist and she foregoes any reluctance to tell him overcoming her own shyness, understanding that he is just the same.
A song about recognizing that forces beyond your control have brought you to eachother and knowing there is not ever another time in space that could possibly allow for this to happen. It breaks the laws of physics, per say and will stay deep inside for infinity!
