I listen to this song nearly everyday, and just to think that there are millions of people that arent wearing million dollar labels just shows that your not perfect wearing that crap, your perfect on what you fel comfortable in :) but you know I do admit, when my mum buys me my clothes I think the clothes are pretty but its just not my style, I think its alright to express how you feel about clothes whether they are 2 bucks from the op-shop or 50 bucks at supre/jay jays/dfo etc.

I think that it doesn't matter what you wanna buy. I've bought some things from jc pennys that were baby phat and then I've bought coach and expensive dresses that I've only wore a couple times. As long as you like it doesn't matter wheather its $10 or $1000. Its ur choice. Just never be stuck up or disrepectful to those who are less fortunate.

A friend of mine passed last summer, we held multiple benefits/fundraisers in his honor. One of the hosts has yet to give the moneis raised to my friends family (as was agreed upon) and he has turned it over to his layer claiming some bs reason. The story has made the local tv and radio stations. Here it comes: some jackazz head the nerve to claim that it was a race issue. No where in that story was race mentioned, or even referred to. To the person that wrote " they are talking about white girls trying to be like black girls" you live in a very small world, and I'm sorry. I could be very wrong, but come on, the song has absolutely nothing to do with race! And ps, can't you tell that she is unique and definitely an individual all in her own? Why should she want to do what others white girls do?

Umm, sweetheart I hate to tell you this but wearing gucci and louis does not make someone classy. There are high end hookers that wear gucci, so does that mean they are automatically classy. And as far as people not respecting people wearing ecko or baby phat, honey respect can't be bought it has to be earned. I feel sorry for you.

Fashion and clothing is not about the brand name on the tag. It is what makes a person theirself. I personally think that people who go and spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a purse or a pair of shoes is insecure. You don't need to spend money to be happy. You just need to be who you are. Who cares if you brought it from a "low class". I must say I brought one of my favourite denim jackets from an op-shop for $10 and everyone who sees it loves it and when they ask where I got it are shocked to hear when I say I got it at an op-shop. The amount of money or a brand name means nothing. I found a nice skirt but I refused to pay $80 for such a little amount of material, I looked around and found the exact same design for just $19. How about instead of spending ridiculous amounts of money on "fashion", you donate money to organisations and causes. Be yourself. Don't hide behind a brand name.
