Kitchie Nadal – Same Ground lyrics
My love
It's been a long time since I cried and left you out of the blue
It's hard leaving you that way when I never wanted to

Self denial is a game it's strange I never would've wanted 'til there was you
'Cause I have learned that love is beyond what human can imagine,
The more it clears
The more I gotta let you go

Chorus:
'Cause why I don't understand
Is why I'm feeling so bad now
When I know it was my idea
I could've just denied the truth and lied
And why am I the only one standing stranded on the same ground

My love
It's been a long time since I cried and left you out of the blue
It's hard leaving you that way when I never wanted to

Self denial is a game it's strange I never would've wanted 'til there was you
'Cause I have learned that love is a word gets thrown a little bit too much
The best excuse to fill this infinite abyss
I would never ever have to fail

(CHORUS x2)

If all else fails
Would you be there to love me?
When
all else fails
Would you be brave to see right through me?

This song, not only conveys a broken relationship among two individuals but can also somehow reflects unrequited love. The girl is trying to go astray from the guy she loves the most, due to her feelings setting her ablaze and gnawing on her soul. Those feelings that were left untold, not only the fear of rejection, but fear of ruining things from the way they should be. She is tired enough, so she decided to let go, so her feelings will somehow subside, yet it was a wrong move. It killed her inside, since she distanced herself from the person who she yearned for years.

At first, it was a love game which turned out to be true. The girl started to have feelings for the guy, worried that her love will never ever paid back(knowing that it was just a game), she chose to leave him. It's her first time to find out what love is, but then she was hurt. She badly wants to be with the guy but she was scared that his love for her is just a pretense so she just conceal her feelings and walked away.

This song is very senti, so emotional feelings that I can imagine. At first when I hear this song I am very sadly a few minutes. Bring the past that I am solo, unconditionally. But I want the true information for this song. I'm glad to reveal the secrete. 'Cause what I don't understand.
Is why I'm feeling so bad now.
When I know it was my idea.
I could've just denied all the truth and lied.
And why am I the only one standing stranded on the same ground: D.

The song tells ilof a girl who loves a guy but for some reasons, she had to let him go. Jowever she has not moved on yet, hence the line "standing on the same ground." Atbthe end if the song, she was hoping that somehow the guy would know how she still feels for him (If all else fail, would you be brave to see right through me?).

I think this song pretty much explains the feelings of a girl who broke up with someone she thought she didnt love as much. Probably scared of commiting to the relationship or scared to fall deeply for the guy. Left the guy in an aweful state, and she just carried on denying her true feelings until the break up reached its finality... the guy started to move on. When came the realization, then came the pain... she let go of the one she trulu loved. that she was still stuck "on the same ground" (scared, denial, regret, miserable)... hurting so much but still cabt admit it tho secretly wanting the guy to have her back.

This song is not about love life, like breaking up with your boyfriend or girlfriend. This song refers to a young mother's heartbreak for the death of her unborn child. "self denial is a game it's strange i never would've wanted 'til there was you" she tried to forget about it, deny it as if it never happened but the memories of her abortion still grudge her and whenever she tried to be happy she'll still find herself in the middle of that same ground where she would still find herself longing for that one moment wishing to have and hold her aborted child.
