A while ago I was hating life because my best friend who I had fallen in love with decided to take his own life. I was 16 and so was he. He had so much to live for. One day I was driving home and this song came on and I bursted into tears because I knew that he is somewhere watching me and I know he wouldn't want me to be upset he'd want me to realize that just because he's gone doesn't mean my life has to be over. I still think of him everyday and ask myself a million what if questions but I know that I shouldn't because he's gone and theres nothing I can do about it but pray. The lyrics say I'm not living for applause. I'm already so adored. He knows my name. That couldn't be more true. God watches us everyday and he's the only person has never once turned his back on me and I know one day I am gonna be reunited with my best friend and he's probably gonna yell at me for still crying myself to sleep every night, or crying when I'm at the mall because I see something that reminds me of him but I can't help it.
