Evanescence – Hello lyrics

Here is what I think (by the way I have terrible spelling):
I think that this song is about a girl who is still in school or elemenatry school and she has no friends the reason why she likes playing in the rain. The line "she's not breathing" can mean so many things. It can be literal or metaphorically. I think it is meant metaphorically and that she has Schizophrenia, that's why the line "Hello, I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to" comes into place. It goes to her basically saying, don't belive me if I smile cause it's a lie and that she is going to wake up from this "dream" she is having. The line "Don't try to fix me, I'm not
broken" could mean that she doesn't want any medications to "fix" her and that she wants to "fix" it herself. Then it goes into the voice talking to her and telling her to be quite so she can live
for her, but don't cry about it. Out of no where she figures out it really is her life and she really isn't sleeping, that she is still here with all that was left in the past.
That is a big read in to it and taking a psych class kinda helps. Haha.
It also could mean that:.
A girl had no friends and she finally gets sick of playing alone so she develops a "new" her. Everyone liking that "new" her means she got lots of friends, if not some. Then she realizes that the lies aren't helping and her "friends" really aren't her friends, they just like her for who she is pretending to be, but she can't stop the lie and she can't cry. Finally she realizes that she can
get rid of the lies and be herself finally getting friends that like her for her, and she is still like she was in the past, just with friends.
There can be lots of meanings. I hope to be able to read what others thing it means also.

This song is just completely amazing. It's sad, yes. The first time I listened to it, the part when her voice goes really high and really pretty from the deeper sound (which is also pretty :)) sent chills down my spine. I don't cry or I try not to, so that's really all your going to get out of me, but, I've lost a lot in my life, -never really a death, but I've lost a lot- and this song always makes me feel better. I know 4 a fact that this song is about her little sister that dyed when she was in school. Well, acually I just saw the comments made by people on YouTube. But still, you can tell its about her little sister dying. Two songs that almost get me cring is my immortal, hello, and breath no more. I alsom like to hear bring me to life, going under, sweet sacrifice, lies, everybodys fool, andall tha I'm living for. Really great songs, you should listen to them. Awesome. Both my daughter's loved Evanescence. I lost my older daughter Sarah to a sudden brain aneurysm in 2012 and my younger daughter Amy to an undiagnosed cardiac condition in 2016. I find myself playing this song over and over to help me through my grief. No parent should have to lose all their children. Hello and My Heart Is Broken speak to me in my sorrow and help me stay in touch with my "dark angels" (dark brown hair). Evanescence's music is helping me get through day by day.

This song is about how Amy was feeling when her sister, Bonnie died. When Amy was 6 years old she was told that her sister Bonnie who was 3 years old, had died. She was in the school yard when she found out.

This song shows how when you are 6 you don’t quite understand what is going on and she didn't quite believe what was happening. What she's saying in the song is what she felt when she found out, and since she was so young, she didn't fully understand the concept of death.
