I think this song is about a guy wanting to be more than just friends with a girl that's been heartbroken by some other guy. Well, the guy singing is basically saying, 'its okay if youre scared. I'm scared, too. We'll take care of each other. " The lyrics that says, 'and now you wish that you meant something. Something to somebody else', is talking about her wanting to mean something to the guy that hurt her. The guy singing is having to reassure her that he loves her and 'would wait forever' for her. Then when he sings, 'and I'm the one that should mean something', he's practically telling her that she should be thinking about him and how much they mean to each other. Not the one guy that broke her heart.

This song hits me so hard, because it is exactly how I feel about a guy. To me this song is about the girl cheated on the boy, the boy thinks it is fault, so he fights for her, but in the end realizes he don't need her. Craig or Ronnie? I'm so sick of people fighting over who should be in the band. Craig is in it, so gtfoi. Ronnie does have a new band called Falling In Reverse. If noone knew that well now you do. I do miss Ronnie, but Craig is awesome! && I'm inlove with both of them. I'm just glad that Ronnie is back && makin music, as for the lyrics being screwed up, sometimes people make mistakes, hell sometimes people don't even know a meanin to a song and post stupid s*t, && that makes me mad, especially when they say the song means something && they are totally and horrib; y wrong. Just sayin(:

I take it to mean that he's done his girlfriend wrong, and when they break up or maybe just before they break up, she's wishing that someone else loved her.
And I also think the line "And now you wish that you meant something to somebody else" has a double meaning.
I think she might've tried to get back with him, and he wouldn't take her back, so now she's just wanting someone to love her. The very end of the video makes it seem like that too.

I think the same, he fought with her, she got mad, they screamed at each other quite a bit, and he said things he didn't mean, she got mad and left him. Now he regrets it all and jsut wanted her back and that's it, all he wants is her and he is willing to wait for forever till she realizes she wants him too, I love this song, I use it quite a bit when My bf makes me mad.
