I absolutely love this song. It really describes a relationship I once had, and I miss. He was a physically violent person, but I didn't mind it, I am too. He hit me a lot but we always made up later and we were okay again. The arguements, fights and makeups really made the relationship almost exciting. I really feel Rihanna's part. "just gonna stand there and watch me butn but thats alright because i like the way it hurts, just gonna stand there and hear me cry but thats alright because i love the way you lie..." I loved the pain of the relationship to a certain extent, and I loved the way he lied. I miss him so much.

This song reminds me of how me and an ex used to be he had hit once or twice but I knew he loved me we kept saying we were done and we were leaving each other but we had then both realized that wen we had hurt each other there was a thrill or and excitement and it was gettin outta hand we were falling apart we both didn't want to admit it but we werent gonna last much longer it is hard to keep a relationship that is hurting the both of you even if you think you love each other I think the true meaning of this song is abuse isn't right no matter what the situation is or no matter what ur feelings are like at that moment.

@Kendraamerie I would never cheat on my girlfriend. I love her way too much. And I love God. I know that with Him, I can be all she needs me to be. What i took from this song most women can relate. Its like being with a narcissist. They love bomb you to keep you going when you're ready to leave, but still treat you like garbage when you do stay. You just want the good times how they acted to get you but in reality they don't care. They don't know how to deal with their emotions so they take it out on you. After awhile you realize you're just enabling their behavior thinking their gonna change, but it only gets worse. They think you'll never leave. You can't fix a man, you can't love them more. Sometimes you just gotta let go and that's the worse part having to let go, but it's better than letting yourself go.

I really love this song. It reminds me of my relationship with my husband. My best friend and my husband was betraying me for almost a year and half already. And my husband keeps on lying to me even though I already know the truth and the worst things is when I confront them. I can't stay mad at him. Its like even though his betraying, fooling me, and hurting me really bad. My heart still want to forgive him. Want to give another chance. But then I know there's a lot of changes already. Cause even though I gave him another chance I don't know if I can still trust him. Or worst if I can be happy again just like before. Cause everytime were having fun together there's always a time where that past suddenly got to my mind. And it really hurts. Badly!. And when I'm hearing this song. Daprincess1981 you better f*****g get out of that marriage then if you guys fight so bad that you have to hit each other and then you can't stand to see her go away. I believe that the song is about a relationship that is not going anywhere good! And she is tired of the lies. But she can't stop loving him. He will always have her heart and she just wants him to be real with her and tell her the truth about what ever is going on, and he loves her also but he's having all these other feeling's and it will not be easy for him to be with out her! And you rather be able to make it Work more than ever since you can't see yourself with out them even though it isn't worth all the fighting you are dealing with your life is just not going to be the same with out them there fighting for you through this. Sorry so long but I've been dealing with this exact thing for 2 almost 3 yrs and I just want to believe that he loves me more than what he says or shows, and I don't want to be second to anyone but I'm still waiting for him to be brutally honest with me about his latest relationship before ours. I know that he still loves her, I feel more and I just don't know how to let go of what we I thought had! But I've heard so much about what they are doing and are happy, but if he's still in love or still happy with her why did he ever come on to me? I'm not suicidal lol but I do feel that my heart has been broken too many times and it doesn't matter what happens I just don't want to lose the love I at least have for him, we have been with each other every day for the past 3yrs and I will have to take the best from this and see how much more important he seems to think she is still! Like I'm a nothing. So I guess I should feel nothing! But why the hell is it so hard.

The message I take from this song is women enjoy being abused so it's okay guys go ahead. Horrible message. The beautiful melody is kind of like the appeal of abuser. But when you get into the song all of the deadly violence that is eminem is revealed. I guess the attraction some women have for boys who beat up women is sort of like this melody. No matter how much you detest what lies behind the melody you can't help but listen.

Angst and love are shown in the video in such a way that it describes the beautiful symphony of two people whose love for each other becomes toxic but the both are so addicted and depending on that feeling that they are willing to suffer together but not ready to go their saperated ways.

This song reflects how reality is right now. That when you really love someone you tend to be violent and selfish. It's not because you are obsessed but it's because you are just afraid you might loose him or her.
Sometimes we over think love. Most relationship fails not because of having a third party it's because of trust issues and the fear of being alone. Jealousy comes next and finding comfort to another person follows.
