Disembowelment (often written diSEMBOWELMENT) was an Australian doom/grind metal band from Melbourne that was formed in November 1989 out of the ashes of two-piece grind band Bacteria, featuring drummer Paul Mazziotta and guitarist/vocalist Renato Gallina.
