I think that this song is about this girl that is lonely and wants to be with someone. She has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She just wants someone to love her and respect her. She is saying that she would do anything for love and take wy chance that she gets. She also says that she would go back to an old relationship that she might have messed up.

I think this song is aimed at the slightly older lovers "You don't know about my past" and moving on with a lover as you get older. It's all about taking chances with a new relationship, you don't know everything each other yet but you're willing to give things a try! You don't know what to expect or what's around the corner and you've been hurt in the past but there's nothing like sharing love and creating memories with someone.

I absolutley love this song! I can sing it really well too. Well obviously not nearly as well a Celine Dion but still I absolutely love it! Well with me I think that it's about her in a relationship (or at least she wants to be) and she doesn't really know much about the guy and she's like hey you only get one chance to live so what do you say to taking chances even if I turns out badly.

Well, this is a soundtrack for the tv series, moonlight. It's all abt the private investigator who has been a vampire for over fifty years and a lady reporter who eventually falls in love with each other but finds the relationship very difficult because of their vampire-human situation. This song is so perfect for the series. Taking chances no matter how hard it is. How different we are to the other person. How absurd that may be. Just taking chances! This might be a perfect song as well for the movie twilight. What do you think?
