    This song has so much meaning to me, my family friends and town. I lost my sister 3 years ago at the age of 13 and moved out of a abusive household a year later in with my dad. Left for college and completely failed my freshmen year. To find out that I had 2 days to pack up my life once again because my stepmom and da was getting divorce and I left 2 days later to work at a church camp. Through out it all I was scared, sick and didn't know how I was going to make it through. 3 months ago we lost my best friend in afganstan. This song allways reminds me how we are all courageous. The men fighting are courageous. And if we put our faith in god that we will make it. And through the storms, struggles and many trials to stand tall and god will get us through anything.

    In this song god tells us to be courageous and lead the way. Sometimes we feel we aren't strong, but with god we are strong. Even though people will judge our faith in christ jesus, we still need to stand tall and lead the way. Sometime we have obstacles in are life that we can't pass and those obstacles are satin holding us back. Sometimes we cheat and pass the obstacle, but that is not what we are meant for. We lead the way and god does the rest. Pass this message on to someone who does not feel strong and tell them god loves them! :)

    I agree with all the messages so far, I just have to say, my dad is a captain in the army and I think this song encouarged him to work harder, and stand up for his country. It really helped me too. These lyrics are just so moving. So many non believers watched the movie couaragous and heard the song, and it saved them. So spread the word to non believers and tell them to be strong and to be couaragous.

    I think it means that we, as children of god, are meant to be courageous. As the bible says, "what can mere mortals do to me? " and "if god is for us, who can be against us? "
    We have nothing to fear, for our god is greater than all things. We should be courageous, spreading his love and message of forgiveness joyfully throughout the world. We should be courageous in him.
