We all know what this song means; it means something different to everyone. To most people, it's about a guy loving a girl for reasons he doesn't understand. I think that's what true love is - love just because it is. If you can pick out the features about a person that you like, and that's all that you like, then that person is replaceable. If you don't know what it is you like about them, then you will never find the same person that suits you like they do, which is the idea of the song.

This is not exactly Dylan deep stuff here. Pretty shallow. The guy doesn't mind her coming here and seems to reluctantly admit she's just what he needs. It's pop music. I will say that musically it's a lot more sophisticated than it is lyrically. The chord progression is unusual and unique. Whew, there's my 50 word minimum.

Not as dirty as some may assume. It's simply about a boy who is trying to figure out what it is about a girl that drives him crazy. She's just what he needed, someone to take care of ("feed") and someone to "bleed" for; a typical factor of most any relationship. "talking in your sleep," could possibly refer to her talking about personal things, or even other men, but he doesn't mind, as long as she's moved on from them and learned from them. Classic cars. It's a great song.
