umm this song is so powerfull.you know it is possible for someone to be totally changed just like Saul WHO was turned to become a minister of the word of God.Nomater how sinfulll you may think you are,The work was already done on the cross at Calvary...thats why we are saying thanks to calvary today.

Relaying to my oldest son, who's now 31, of my failures. Faults, feelings & decisions I made as a mother, who was saved & seeking god amidst divorce where 4 children were involved, all the tribulations of life: rejection, disappointments, regrets & heartaches; yet we have the power to forgive ourselves, as well as others, go on & choose life that we may live & teach our children's children the bible way, if we stay saved. I have always been a big fan of Bill and Gloria Gaither and the Homecoming friends. This song is really great. Just to think that because one man died on the cross of calvery we will one day be with him gets me shouting. Like the gaithers I am an old fashioned pentocoastal and love them old time singings. When I hear thanks to calvery I just praise him with all my heart. Thank god I am a child of the king.
