Personally, this song speaks to me about being true to life and to stop running away from our true callings. How we try to deprive from life and the body of christ and how he will be back again.
For you that said its about satan, the band happens to be christian, so think again and really try to listen to the lyrics,.
The song is going to mean whatever it means to you, and only you, you may share concepts with people, but lyrics will always remain in retrospect to your personality and beliefs.

Guys, this have nothing to do with religion. The song is about us using up and destroying the planet earth for our own selfish and ignorant reasons. We wont see what we had before its all gone, a beatutiful planet full of life, wiped away just like that. Maybe one of a kind in the entire universe. We know damn well what we are doing, but we choose to overlook it, running away from the death we are causing, leaving the earth behind. Might just become the permian mass extinction all over again.

It means to accept god into your life for he is life and he created the earth it has nothing to do about being selfish and destroying our surrounding, it's about how you should be able to live with god before it's to late and cleanse yourself from sin most of their songs have religious meaning I for one love this band for their religious understanding even if I'm atheist.
