My son was murdered last october. This son was going through my head this morning when I awoke. I went back to sleep, and when I awoke thirty minutes later it was still going through my head. I keep a journal to write to sawyer each day. Sometimes I include a line from a song that makes me think of him or miss him, but since this entire song was repeating over and over I thought I would look up the lyrics. So for me the lyrics are not about a lost love that can be rekindled, but rather how difficult and at times not wanting to walk through life without my baby. He was 19, and certainly my heart is broken.

I feel so sad for you, who mentioned your son. I know it's been years, but I will pray for you. To me the song, seems to be a message for God, letting me know that the man I love, is missing me, and thinking about me. Even though we can't be together right now. But Someday. And the same if for the person, who on March 15, 2012-- someday you will be reunited with your son in Heaven. God bless you.
