Perfect two is the sad story of a hopeless battle against the martians. She starts off on a sweet note and how as a kid she always enjoyed marvin the martian. However, as she grew older, the martians would torment her and her family and send them death threats. She would never have anywhere to hide except for her old boyfriends house, and this relationship redeveloped itself under these circumstances and brought them back together. And just as they seemed to be the "perfect two" again, terrible news came at the worst time. Her family had been destroyed by the martians. She told her boyfriend that it wasn't save for him if she stayed there with him, so she had to leave. He wouldn't let her go alone, so together they went, which is how the song ends.

Well to me it reminds me of the perfect guy who will always be there no matter what. The one who texts you "good morning beautiful" every morning, joins you when you dance in the middle of a deserted street, smiles every time he thinks of you, catches you when you randomly yell "trust fall! ", kisses you in the rain, holds you every chance he gets, and most of all doesn't care what other people think or what else is going on. He wouldnt care if you were total opposites. He'd only be aware that he's with you and happy.

This is the best song ever to it's sad but great at the same time. It describes feelings that I never knew I had before it just wonderful I don't know why. My boyfriend broke up with and used to sing this song to me all the time so I get sad some times as well.

It's also meaningful to me cuz it's like every words that are put in love it's so heavenly and for the song it's cute to put those words in a romantic song.
