Well the first stanza is kind of referring to the government, that we vot and choose and have created a destroyer (being the government and hat it is and does) and then 'kill the employer' kinda hopes to instill some independence from said government. The second stanza 'a product of the 21st century' is kind of sarcastic in saying that this generation is the most advanced and connected but really we are alone making it worse and just sitting there doing nothing in our own homeland, letting it deteriorate. 'the american dream will die in a waiting room' means that everyone who goes for the american dream and tries to have it all will die waiting for that 'happy feeling' of reaching that dream. Then the song goes on to say we need to change it and then repeats that everyone will die waiting for the 'happiness' to come from that empty american dream. That's just my opinion on the song, post yours! (:
